Brasiliens Volleyballer gewinnen Weltliga: 3:1-Finalsieg

Olympiasieger und Weltmeister Brasilien hat sich zum dritten Mal in Serie den Sieg in der Volleyball-Weltliga gesichert. Die Brasilianer gewannen das Finale in Belgrad gegen Serbien-Montenegro mit 3:1. Die Vorjahresdritten konnten dabei nur im ersten Satz mithalten. Anschließend drehte die derzeitige Übermannschaft auf und ließ dem Gegner in der Neuauflage des Endspiels von 2003 keine Chance. Platz drei ging an Kuba, das sich im 'kleinen Finale' nach hartem Kampf mit 3:2 gegen Polen durchsetzte.
