Ne ne, in die eigene Tasche lügen möchte ich mir nicht und ich habe ja auch schon zugegeben, dass man(n) in Kuba auch gerne mal etwas bewusst übersieht und dabei „völlig glücklich“ ist. Das hat Errue wirklich schön und treffend formuliert. Sollte ich im März Errue vor Ort auf ein oder zwei Mojitos treffen, greife ich ggf. auf seine Trickkiste zurück.
Wobei, solange ich nicht wirklich mehr will, frage ich mich, ob ich überhaupt tiefer bohren sollte und nicht einfach wie „El Frances“ und auch „Jackman“ meinen, die Sache einfach geniessen sollte, ohne weder auf meiner noch auf ihrer Seite hohe Erwartungen zu schüren. Ich denke das ist mehr mein Ding. Zumindest aktuell.
Wie „El Frances“ wohl richtig meinte, ist die Einladung bei jemanden zu wohnen ein ernsthaftes „Commitment“. Im März hätte Carmen gerne, dass ich mit ihr bei ihrer Mutter in ihrem Dorf in der Provinz wohne. Carmen möchte, dass ich es zumindest für ein paar Tage probiere. Einerseits würde mich das schon interessieren, anderseits kann das schnell „heavy“ werden und vor allem zu falschen Erwartungen und Hoffnungen führen. Dificil. Wir werden sehen.
„Chulos“ Statement, dass es mit mehreren Kubanerinnen (gleichzeitig oder nacheinander) einfacher sein kann, stimmt bestimmt. Ist ja auch sehr sehr reizvoll. Wobei sich mir heute noch meine kaum vorhandenen Nackenhaare sträuben, wenn ich an den Reisebericht von „EL Comandante“ denke.

Wie du merkst, ist es für mich unbequem auf deutsch zu schreiben, als auch komplexe Sachen zu ausdrücken. Du kannst aber ruhig auf Deutsch schreiben.
To explain more my point.
In fact, it comes more from my experience in another country, that is vietnam. And especially from an ongoing relationship I have since 2 years with a "taxi girl" (local name for jineteras). I noticed that many of these girls have boyfriends who send them money. But they still go on to prostitute. At the beginnin, I was shocked, thinking that they were simply screwing those poor guys...
After that I talked with my (Taxi-) girlfriend, who also has 2 boyfriends sending her some money every month and that would consider to marry him, about that. She told me that she needs to get married, to get out of poverty (and also because she prefers foreigners. Foreigners are perceived as the "beautifull foreigners", like in cuba.)
But she does not know if her boyfriends will effectively marry her (and also if she will want it, because some she may not know enough to decide) (she is beautifull and class enough to choose also, and not only be choosen). So she keeps to have relationships with other men to make sure that she will get a husband out of all of them.
She also explained me why she allways wants money when she makes love with a man : "what's the use of making love for nothing with someone who will leave me in most of the cases after some time. If he don't pay me, after he leaves, I have given my body and my time for nothing serious."
That's a point of view that has some coherence, I think....
Another point is that jineteras or taxi girls are not necessarilly "bad girls".(some are, of course..) They are not just "meat", as some foreigners treat them, they are also human beings.And they usually treat differently the people they like (or even love). In fact I know some people who married such girls (sometimes they knew about it, sometimes not), and are perfectly happy with them. I also noticed that those girls may be more sensible to the human qualities of the man. They had so much sex in their life, so ....
I don't write all that to convince the readers to marry a jinetera. I just try to explain things from their perspective.
After that, guys, you do what you want ! It's your business!
